We guarantee you receive your specimens in the quality stated on your order. If there is any problem, don't hesitate to contact us.

 

- Orders will only be shipped after receiving full payment.

- We do not sell any butterflies that fall under CITES restrictions! (Ornithoptera, Troides)

- In case import permits are needed in the country of destination, this is the responsiblility of the recipient. We are not accountable for losses that may result from this if the proper paperwork is not filed.

- We can not be held liable for any customs fees or delays before you receive your package.

- We take great care in making sure your order arrives safely however we are not responsible for losses due to custom inspection, postal shock or mishandling by a thirth party.

- All specimens are send papered with full data (location, date)

- For orders over €200, postage is free!

- There is an additional charge of €25 on payments made by bank transfer.

- All packages are accompanied by 2 invoices, one on the inside and one on the outside of the package. The invoices clearly state the names of the species, number of specimens of each species and the total value. If any other documentation is needed, contact us before placing your order. We are not responsible for loses if we are not contacted before hand.

How are specimens posted and how much will it cost?

All specimens are shipped unset in individual paper envelopes. They are well packaged in strong shipping boxes with plenty of soft foam cushioning to protect them during transit. We ship across the globe via Belgium post or Post NL.
To view shipping costs to your area, add the desired items to your shopping cart and click 'view cart'. If the prices shown in the shopping cart show the dafult ,'Belgium', you can click 'change' under 'destination' and enter your own country/region. Alternatively you can register for an account and add your address and the shopping cart will automatically display shipping rates to the address stored within your account. Shipping rates are also displayed at the checkout before you process your final order.

How long do orders take to reach me?

Orders are usually shipped within 2 working days using standard airmail. As a guide, mail from Belgium to the U.S.A. usually takes between one and two weeks, all things going well. However, mail may take longer at busy times of the year such as Christmas, or delays in customs and quarantine. You will be emailed when your order has been shipped. Customers in Russia, please note that due to problems currently within the Russian postal service, parcels are taking up to at least three months to be delivered.

What if my order goes missing or is damaged during transit?

If your package does not arrive after two months it will be deemed lost and we will reship your order at no cost to you. For customers in Russia, due to lengthy delivery times in your country, you will need to wait four months before we will reship your order. If your order is damaged during transit, the item/s will be replaced or you will receive a full refund for the damaged items (excludes antenna damage, or leg damage in the case of beetle and butterfly specimens, due to postal shock). Evidence of damage must be given to us prior to a replacment or refund being given. Such evidence could be a photograph or the return of the damaged specimens (We will not be liable for postage costs asociated with the return of the specimens).

What if I don't like what I ordered?

If you do not like what you ordered you will receive a full refund (excluding all postage costs) upon the return of the goods to us in the same condition as they were received.

Can I cancel my order if I change my mind?

Provided that the order has not been shipped, you may cancel your order. Simply contact us using the 'contact' button and your order will be cancelled.
